Yesterday one of my friend asked me about a very strange problem that the Windows Run menu is missing from Start Menu on his system.

If this is the problem also happened to your pc then you can use the simple application called Runmimic; it exactly look as the run command from windows and works the same way.

Solution 2: Though apart from the above solution you can also enable it by editing gpedit.msc but since Run is missing then you can open it from the Administrative tools inside the control panel. Go to user configuration ->  admin templates -> click “Start Menu and Taskbar”. Look for the option “remove run menu from start menu” on the right side. Double click it and ensure that it is Enabled.
