Windows Recycle Bin is the place to dump deleted files or folders which are not required any more for final deletion. Though Recycle Bin is nothing but a folder location which keeps the deleted file. However this is a very important folder but there are many of us though likes its function but not satisfied with the name it has and always wished to change it name to their taste.
So if you want to do that then this can be easily done via the regedit… steps given below:
- Click on Start.
- Go to All Programs.
- Click on Accessories.
- Click on Run (Though you can also skip above steps and directly using Windows Key + R also open the run window) .
- Type “Regedit” (without quotes) in the Run dialog box.
- Registry Editor window will now open.
- Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT -> CLSID -> {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
- Change the name “Recycle Bin” to whatever you want (don’t type any quotes while writing the name).
This will do the needful… enjoy
