If you love widgets on your desktop then here is one more good looking widget which you can apply to get 5 day weather forecast, time display and the pictures of your choices as slide show as shown in the picture below.

This widget looks  very neat and clean and not very complicated and if you want to have it on your desktop, only download zip file from the link here and run the “Metro Home”. The widget will be available on your desktop, drag it to desired location. Once satisfied you can lock it location by just Right clicking over using mouse  and set it to pin to location. There are also options in the right context menu to re size the widget and make it to stay on top over all other application.

If you step into the widget settings from the right-click content menu, you can change the weather provider (Foreca, FreeMeteo, MSN), the refresh interval of the weather, the slide-show and the time format and well as unit of measurement (Celsius or Fahrenheit). From here, you can also choose your location to receive the correct weather and time information. From the right-click content menu you can also step into the Metro Home Settings where you can enable Windows Aero view, set the language and make the widget start automatically with Windows.
