Very often there are messages in Gmail we receive which are part of a long conversation but doesn’t have much importance for the business. Then such messages can be muted through More action>mute to get a clean and fresh look of the inbox.

But what if later we want to get any message back to our inbox… then you have to use the search feature as the steps given below:

Unmute a conversation in GMAIL:

1. Login to your gmail account.

2. Type is:muted in search bar at top left and press the Enter key.

3. This will display all the messages that you have previously muted. Now choose the desired message and click again on more action and go through unmute messages. The message will then moved to the inbox.
