If you have BSNL’s limited Brodband connection then there may be the chances that you would be looking for a software that can monitor how much the bandthwidth data you have downloaded or uploaded. Though here is a small plugin that can do the task for you but the browser choices are limited; you either have to use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to work it as it will not work with Internet Explorer. The best part is it can work with any version of Mozilla Firefox.
So if you are already using Mozilla firefox then you can proceed with the download from here to install this plugin called DataFox. This plugin you can use with any BSNL service all over the India and it can also be used with MTNL’s Mumbai and Delhi broadband connection.
After the installation it is very easy to use, from the small bar type icon showing in status bar area as shown above in the image. Click it to bring up the login dialog. Select your ISP, then enter your name and password and click the Login button; that’s it. Click the icon again to refresh the usage data. Since version 1.4, if you keep CTRL pressed when you click this icon, DataFox will display details from the most recent successful update. This can come in handy if the usage server is down and you’d like the previous details restored.
Though there are not any chance you would’t have liked the software so you can also visit to publisher site for more info
