Normally while surfing over the web it is very likely situation for windows to always sends and receive computer description every time it connects to a website. So by this way it always use the connection bandwidth available for the same data which it has already sent the host server, but no matter what it has done already, same process repeated very frequently. But form now on you can modify your registry which will deal with resolving the site name to an appropriate IP address, these are the stuffs that tcp/ip really deals with it.
So to achieve this only you have to do open your notepad window and copy the following matter and paste it there and save it with any name but with .reg extension.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Dnscache\Parameters]
“CacheHashTableBucketSize”=dword:00000001
“CacheHashTableSize”=dword:00000180
“MaxCacheEntryTtlLimit”=dword:0000fa00
“MaxSOACacheEntryTtlLimit”=dword:0000012d
Now double click over the saved file this will pop up saying to be a settings will be a saved to the registry click over ok and that’s all… Now i am sure the next time you surf over the web you will definitely feel the difference so if it so I deserves a comment or a feed-burner subscription… what do you think?
This is a DNS information and it is used so that next time you will not need to ask for the site location every time when you visit the site. Although Windows XP and Windows 2000 has an efficient DNS cache, you can increase overall performance by increasing their size. This can be done by the registry entries.
Another way is to use Internet Cyclone that will optimize automatically and increases the internet speed.
It can be downloaded from http://www.jordysoft.com/icyclone/internet-cyclone.aspx
