This is the Microsoft way to check if there is multiple copies of Windows 7 is installed using Security Update KB971033. But in case if you installed it and this is causing annoyance here you can just uninstall it.

Though in Windows 7 it is very easy to uninstall any update using Windows 7 Control Panel to do so follow the steps given below:

1.    Go to Control Panel -> Uninstall a Program

2.    Click on the “View Installed Updates” on left side of the pop up screen.

3.    This will show you all the updates installed in your system till date.

4.    Select the Activation Update KB971033 from the list and click Uninstall using the right click button.

The update would get deleted from the system.
