Do Windows XP takes up lot of time in the booting up process? Though there may be several reason causing this slow bootdown but here I will let you know a simple trick to enhance speed up boot process of Windoes XP….

1. First of all open Notepad and then copy/paste the following code in it given in bold :

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters]
?EnablePrefetcher?=dword:00000003

2. Now the cautious part…. you need to save this notepad file with a reg extension… any name would work….to save it first you need to click on file type drop down menu and click on all files….

3. That’s all now only work left is to double click on the file you have saved earlier and add this extension into registry…. and fell the difference.
