If you love experimenting with Windows then here is one more tool you would love to know. If you are using windows 7 then think how about windows desktop only with a start button in the corner with the Taskbar area missing as shown in the below image:

If the above image impressed then here is the software Shellwin which was used to achieve this effect. This Tool is designed in such a way that it partially hide the Taskbar except the Start Button allowing you to keep the Start-button visible while running applications at full screen.
