Earlier I have mentioned a post on how you can speed up thumbnail display of open application into taskbar in windows 7 but do you know that you can also increase menu display speed while the mouse pointer hovers around it. Yes for it also an registry tweak available. Though I know for most of us it is not for much of use but having knowledge of such a trick is always worthy. So to do so first you have to open registry editor… follow the guidelines given..
Go to Start then Run
Type ‘Regedit’ then click ‘Ok’
Find “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\”
Select “MenuShowDelay”
Right click and select “Modify‘
Reduce the number to around “100”
The last one number which you have to modify is all responsible to do this trick but here you should keep in mind that this is time in mili second which delays the menu display keep it very low or around zero will make menus really hard to use as a slight movement of mouse, may change them . I tend to go for anywhere between 50-150 depending on my mood.
