You have got a new idea or thought and go ti to publish in a new post in your WordPress Blog but finally surprised the way it has opened the new post window as you find that the Visual Editor or tools below the media icons (Upload Picture, media etc.) is missing… though if have a knowledge of html editing then you will not face any problem but for a normal users they are like the lifelines….
So it seems that it has somehow missing from the New post window…. now there are two possibilities
- Visual Editor may be disabled from the personal option from User profile
Access your Personal Settings and uncheck the Disable the visual editor when writing option in the Personal Options section.
(but as you were able to access from in the past so there are very chances that you may have disabled it unless you do it unintentionally)
- Or due to a browser cache error or a simple misconfiguration in your user profile
How to enable visual editor from browser cache:
Force reload your web browser. Make sure to let the page load completely before start editing.
- Windows: CTRL + F5
- Mac/Apple: Apple+R or command + R
- Linux: F5
If you can see the Visual Editor on another browser or computer, the problem is related to your browser.
