If you are using windows 7 then you must be surprised by the enhancement it has… some of it may be you have explored like having a preview open application in Taskbar are but do you know that you can speed up the time delayed in between hovering the mouse and the thumbnail displayed. The simple trick mention, can be made more productive by making it faster which will speedup the task bar thumbnail preview.

So you can try the search bar feature of windows or windows key + r to go to windows registry by key word regedit.

Once Registry Editor opened look for the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse

and double click on the MouseHoverTime and change the default value 400 to something less than 100. Lower the value faster will be the thumbnail preview.

But try to avoid setting this to a very low around 0 as this will cause windows to notice a very slight mouse movement causing difficult to work.
