There were situation when we need to rename multiple pictures we have shooted on any special occasion so that those can be categorized for future reference. For this purpose there are several application already available over the web but what if you don’t have any such utility at the time in need.

If so is the case then why worry as there is a solution already available in any version of windows… follow the steps

1. Open the folder containing the set of files or pictures and select them

2. Now with the files being selected press F2.

3. This will cause you to rename any one file from the selected list with the desired name. Just give the name and press enter.

4. That’s it all the files from the selection will be renamed as per your choice with the suffice 1..2..3… at the end.
