Everybody wants that his pc’s desktop should look neat and clean and very impressive. But have you ever caught in a situation or found that your desktop icons have an Dark Blue Background below the caption, which to me looks very ugly. And in no way I can allow them to appear. So if are also like me and want to have your desktop neat and clean and this blue patch troubling you then follow the simple procedure.

First Right click over the My Computer Icon from the desktop or Windows explorer and choose properties. From there look for the Advanced Tab there you may find Performance option – which is responsible for visual effects and process related to memory of processor usage. So from there click on settings.

Next window will be as shown above drop down the list and look for “Use Drop shadows for Icon Labels on the desktop” check it and apply. Most probably are the chances you will get your desktop clean again.
