You have suddenly remembered that an important work is still left after the shutdown command initiated or you have mistakenly shutdown your system and left with no choice to wait till again it restarts. This trick is not very complicated but only includes old style dos command using command prompt window. Steps to do this easy task given below:

1. Open command prompt using Start> all programms > Accessories> Command Prompt or Using windows run (Windows key + r) and typing CMD

2. IN Command prompt windows type “shutdown –a” or “shutdown /a” and press enter this will abort shutting down process.
