Few days i have posted an article to let you hide your desktop taskbar except the start windows button (Read more…) but today once again I came across one more application which also looks very impressive.

Taskbar Eliminator a portable application (means requires no installation) is well capable to give you extra area by hiding the Windows Taskbar but leaving the start menu so that you can launch it any application whenever required. If you want to show the taskbar again, press the “Ctrl + Alt + T” keys and it’ll show the main window where you can easily unhide the taskbar again. Also you can set the program to start automatically with Windows.
