Once for a while I was caught in a very unusual situation as I have hundreds of word document in a folder and have to create a list of all these files for the documentation purpose. But as you know this is not going to be an easy job for me to manually type and edit the whole list of files in word as this may consume a lot of time as well as the useless effort.
This is why I though why don’t I search any utility which can print the list of files from any folder and finally I got Karen’s Directory Printer… which is not capable of only print the file names but also the file information like file’s size, date and time of last modification, and attributes (Read-Only, Hidden, System and Archive). The tools can also be used to list the files in a sub-directory.
Main Features
• Customize file lists to fit your preferences
• Print or save a list of files located in any folder.
• Edit file lists before printing.
• List files in subfolders.
I would also consider Directory Report
http://www.file-utilities.com
It can print the standard file properties plus print the MS-Office properties as well
