Most of times files we download from Internet are bundled in the Rar or the Zip archive and suppose we need any particular file from the collection of such archive we finally have to download the whole bunch of collection and after download only then we can find the appropriate file. Though this will not be a problem for those who having requirement of the whole file but is a big problem anyone wants to be selective in terms of downloading files. Sometimes it also happens that after downloading the whole bunch of the archive it was found that most of the files contained in the archive are useless file is missing from the archive.
Then this is the case when we want to know the contents of the archive before further downloading, and it would be a much better idea if there any solution available through which we can choose which file should download and which should not… the first question is that possible…. answer is … of course solution available.
With the Firfox plugin Archview already in place we can have a look of any compressed archive before we go for a download. Thus making us it easy to download the selective file instead of the whole archive and saving us a lot of time and bandwidth. Below is the snapshot of its working edition :(But note that it is only available as Mozilla firefox extension)
