In one of my previous post i have mentioned how you can check if you are blocked by your friend on MSN Messenger now today you will learn on how you can check the same thing while chatting on Google’s most popular service Gtalk.

To get info about some one has blocked you or not you need to get a small utility called Pidgin. This is a small but very powerful utility which works not only with Google but it supports all the major IM accounts AIM, SIMPLE, Gadu-Gadu, Google Talk, ICQ, Groupwise, IRC, MSN, Bonjour, MySpaceIM, Yahoo, Zephyr etc at once.

First you need to download the Pidgin from the link here and run it.

1. Now login using your gmail account and click on Buddies then click on Show Offline Buddies, this will display the whole list of friends including those who have blocked you.

2.    Now to the contact you are not able to chat, right click and select “Get Info”. This option will show the details of the contact but if  there is no info then the person has blocked you.

5.    Since the person has requested to block you he will always appear offline to you.

So go ahead and see who all have blocked you.
