Though there is not any question as which windows is more efficient these days… Windows Seven from the day it was launched got a huge response. But few days back I was in a situation with Windows Seven that I was not able to link all my music files to a new program I have installed. Despite changing the file association it still shows the default media player image Icon. Which makes me crazy even a restart also not able to fix it. Generally in any other case it got refreshed with a restart but this time icons were seems to be sticks with the media player Icon..
Now then I thought it must be a bug in the Windows Seven but then I finally came to a solution with an option given in control panel as Set Default Programs… from there I was able to fix it in such a way like it was never exists… and this is well capable to fix files with any extension to any particular program
So to get to this
• Click Start, Default Programs
• Click Set your default programs
• Select your web browser, photo viewer or any program listed and set it as this program as default button.
Possibility is that it will solve your problem
