So; those who prefer Basic Internet plan for limited data uses many times stuck in the middle of month as sometimes it seems that they have used up all Internet data usage alloted to them even though they are very choosy to site selection. Windows Automatic Updates: This is by default is automatically on by the windows installation though it helps in increasing Internet security. To turn on Windows Automatic update, Go to Control Panel -> Windows Update. In sidebar, click “Change settings”. In new dialog box, click on “Never check for updates” and hit OK.

Firefox Updates, Firefox browser updates itself frequently. So, it is better to turn it off. You can do this from Tools -> Options and using “advanced” tab and then “update” tab.
